I’ve got a winning ticket!

   I’ve been waiting months and months to come up with a good conclusion for this traveling section. I came up with what I thought were amazing ways to start and finish this entry. I actually just wrote a huge entry but I’m throwing it out the window. Yes, I learned a ton and got tons of insight during the whole experience and I could sit with you all day long talking about all the amazing things that I realized and experienced, but here is what it breaks down to. Dropping everything and leaving to go traveling has been a long long dream of mine. I use to say that if I win the lottery I’m totally going to pick up and leave on a grand adventure. Guess what the likelihood of me winning the lottery wasn’t very good. We have no control over those chances. Also when we think too much about it the likelihood of us dropping everything that we know and have, to go traveling with barely any money isn’t very good either. I couldn’t wait around for a golden ticket and a series of unfortunate events pushed me to get off my ass and make this dream happen. It’s the best choice of my life.

   Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all that bought that camera for me. The trip sometimes feels like it didn’t happen. I’m glad I started this blog because looking back at it really blows my mind. I mean I could have shot the whole thing with my phone, but with all the love that went into that camera I somehow magically was able to capture exactly how I felt. Looking back at these pictures makes me feel exactly like I did when I took them. I still can’t believe I made it happen. Don’t wait around for that winning ticket. Don’t wait for that dream to come knocking at your door. We will never have enough time or money to do it. What you really need is the drive.
